Welcome! My name is Claire. I am a college student studying Economics. I love spending time with family and friends, and doing all things creative. Recently, I was diagnosed with Loeys-Dietz Syndrome which is a connective tissue disorder meaning it affects the whole body, especially the heart. This is something that I have been struggling with my whole life but never had a name for it. In learning about and researching my diagnosis, I found that there is not much content from people who have Loeys-Dietz. My goal in writing this blog is first to share my experience, to open a conversation among people who have Loeys-Dietz, and finally to make content that is relatable to people facing other chronic illnesses and adversities as young adults.
